Owl
A thousand night forests, each one drawn from a single system of lanes. Lines merge into trees, traces become circuits, crossing paths weave over and under, and owls wait in the branches.
How a forest is drawn
Everything in a piece is made from the same parallel lanes. Nothing is pasted on top: the sky, the hills, the trees and the owls are regions of one grid, and each region grows its own network of turning, merging lines. The studio can replay this as an animation for any seed.
Sky
Weather fields split the sky into bands of colour that the lanes follow.
Ground and circuits
Hills settle in strata, and circuit traces route between them at 45°.
Trees
Trunks branch at 45° angles, the way the lanes are allowed to turn.
Leaves
Canopy, blossom or bare branches, coloured by the mood.
Owls
Owls of different sizes take their perches, tinted by what is behind them.
What changes from forest to forest
Every token is decided by its hash. The same hash always draws the same forest, at any size.

Palettes from Biomorphic
Twenty-eight of the palettes come from Biomorphic, an earlier Cexagon collection. Each one is translated into a forest: its field colours become the sky and hills, its ribbons become trunks and aurora, and its accents light the moon, the leaves and the circuit chips.
Their rarity carries over too, so Gold, Lava and Glitch stay the rarest.
